Goerge Kwame Aboagye 

George Kwame Aboagye was born on Saturday, August 24, 1968, in Akim Manso, located in the Eastern region of Ghana.

His educational journey includes a Diploma from Zenith University College and an L.L.B (Bachelor of Laws) from Lancaster University, Ghana campus.

George served as the Chief Executive Officer at Geospence Ghana Limited from 2008 to 2016. His experience in the business world has undoubtedly enriched his perspective as a politician.

George Kwame Aboagye's political career gained momentum when he secured a victory in the Asene-Akroso-Manso constituency, representing the New Patriotic Party (NPP). In the 2016 elections, he obtained an impressive 21,148 votes out of 31,078 valid votes cast, accounting for 68.44% of the vote share.

In the 2020 election, George Kwame Aboagye of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) secured 19,175 votes, representing 57.24%, Ahinakwa Eric of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) received 9,720 votes, accounting for 29.01%, and Yaw Owusu-Boateng, running as an independent candidate, garnered 4,606 votes, constituting 13.75%.

In his role as a Member of Parliament, Aboagye has been actively involved in various parliamentary committees. He serves as the Vice Chairperson of the Lands and Forestry Committee, where he plays a crucial role in shaping policies related to land management and forestry in Ghana. Additionally, he is a member of the Environment, Science, and Technology Committee, further highlighting his commitment to sustainable development and environmental issues.
