Club career
In January 2019, he was loaned to Sturm Graz until the end of the season. Following that, he was loaned to Belgian club Zulte Waregem for the 2019-20 season. On August 3, 2021, Mensah joined Bordeaux on a season-long loan with an option to buy until the end of the 2021-22 Ligue 1 season. Finally, on August 12, 2022, he signed a three-year contract with Auxerre.

Mensah made his debut for the Ghana national team in 2019 and later represented them in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations where they were eliminated in the group stage.
