Fritz Baffour

Fritz Baffour was born on November 7, 1951, in Accra, Ghana

Fritz Baffour had an academic background with his father being an esteemed mechanical engineer and his mother a midwife. He pursued his education in Ghana and the United Kingdom, obtaining GCE certificates and completing a master's degree in Communication Studies from Leicester University between 2007 and 2012.

From its establishment in 1991, Baffour has been associated with the National Democratic Congress, and in January 2009, he secured a parliamentary seat for Ablekuma South in the Ghanaian parliamentary election, subsequently serving as Minister for Information under President John Atta Mills in 2012.

Baffour, an experienced journalist and media consultant, worked as a producer and director for various television channels including Ghana Television and has collaborated with international production companies, serving as a consultant to the government of Jerry Rawlings.
