Frederick Obeng Adom

Born on January 11, 1984, in Aburi, Adom holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration. He has professional experience as a business development officer at Fonak Technologies Ltd and as the Chief Executive Officer of Surveying Precision Market Ltd.

Adom emerged victorious in the June 2020 NPP parliamentary primaries and went on to secure the Upper West Akim Constituency seat in the 2020 Ghanaian general elections, unseating the incumbent NDC member of parliament. He currently serves on the House Committee and Mines and Energy Committee in the Eighth Parliament of Ghana and was appointed as the Deputy Minister of Transportation by President Nana Akufo-Addo.
