Birth and Carrere of Afena-Gyan

Afena-Gyan, a Sunyani, Ghana, native, transferred from EurAfrica FC to the youth squad of Serie A club Roma. Exactly one day after being revealed. He scored and provided an assist in Genoa's 5-0 thrashing as he made an outstanding start for AS Roma's under-18 team. After scoring in his next two matches for the under-18s, he was soon promoted to Roma's Primavera under-19 team, coached by Alberto De Rossi, where he finished the season with four goals and two assists in 15 games.
