Graduate of University of Cape Coast and University of Ghana, with master's in international affairs, he supports president's foreign agenda through communication with diplomatic missions and international organizations.
As a global fellow at CSIS, he represents Ghana at international conferences and takes professional development courses in public administration, international relations, policy management, sustainable development, humanitarian emergencies, and conflict resolution.
Aliu, Ghana's representative to the UN Committee on Social, Cultural and Humanitarian Issues, has over ten years of experience in foreign service, intergovernmental negotiations, public policy formulation, advocacy, leadership, management, and administration. He previously worked in the Cabinet Secretariat as an officer in charge of the Northern Regional Biometric Passport Application Centre.
