Emmanuel Kulendi Yornny

He hails from the Issa community in the Upper West region of Ghana and is the fourth child among his mother's seven offspring. Before enrolling at Wa Secondary School (currently Wa Senior High Technical School), he received his primary education at Ndama Primary School.

He studied at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology before enrolling at the University of Ghana.He graduated as a barrister-at-law and later earned a master's degree in arts from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California.

Yornny was chosen to serve as a justice on Ghana's Supreme Court. He rapidly established a reputation for being a just and unbiased judge, and people respected his decisions.

Yornny received an honorary degree from the University of Ghana, which he previously attended. The degree was given to Yornny in honor of his excellent accomplishments in the legal field and his dedication to social justice. Yornny praised his loved ones, friends, and coworkers in his award speech for their encouragement during his career.
