Emmanuel Adjei Anhwere earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Management from the University of Education Winneba in 2009. He later pursued a Commonwealth Executive Master's degree in Public Administration with a management specialization from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in 2015.
Emmanuel Adjei Anhwere held a significant role as the Senior Quality Control Officer at the Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD) branch in Kumasi.
In 2016, Emmanuel Adjei Anhwere embarked on a political journey by standing as a candidate on the NPP ticket in the parliamentary elections. Anhwere secured a victory with an impressive 83.15% of the votes, amassing 48,264 votes out of the 58,313 valid votes cast. His main opponent, Nana Asare Bediako, representing the National Democratic Party (NDC), obtained 9,780 votes, representing 16.85%.
Anhwere's dedication led to his re-election in the 2020 General Election. He retained his seat, allowing him to continue representing his constituents in the eighth Parliament of the Fourth Republic.
