Elvis Afriyie Ankrah is a Ghanaian politician who previously served as the Minister for Youth and Sports in Ghana.

Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, born in 1967 in Ghana, attended Okuapemman Secondary School and London College of Computing and Electronics. He earned a GCE Ordinary Level diploma in 1984, a certificate in business and administrative computing in 1986, and a GCE Advanced Level in 1988 at Winneba Secondary School. He studied at the University of Ghana from 1992 to 1996, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, Drama, and Linguistics.
Elvis Ankrah has experience in various business positions, including personal assistant at AMOGA Works, London location's personal assistant at Omega Works, and Grasam Enterprises. He also served as Executive Co-ordinating Secretary of the National Union of Ghana Students and operations manager at Annrose Protocol Services Limited.
Ankrah served as the President of the University of Ghana's Students Representative Council from 1994 to 1996. He later joined the National Democratic Congress and was a campaign manager for both Presidents Mills and Mahama. He was appointed Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development in 2009 and later Minister for Youth and Sports in 2013.
