Edward Korbly Doe Adjaho is a Ghanaian politician and lawyer who served as Ghana's Speaker of Parliament from 2013 to 2017, being the first Speaker elected from among members of Ghana's parliament and the fifth Speaker of the Fourth Republic of Ghana.

Edward Korbly Doe Adjaho was born. After completing his secondary schooling at the Accra Academy, he continued his studies at the University of Ghana, where in 1984 he earned his LL.B. in law.[5] As a result of his enrollment at the Ghana School of Law, where he received his legal training, he was admitted to the bar in 1986. Before entering politics, he was employed at the Attorney General's office.
He held the position for 20 years, from 1993 to 2013, making him one of the few politicians to do so during the Fourth Republic of Ghana. He was a representative in the Pan-African Parliament as well.
Adjaho works as an attorney. He was employed at the Office of the Attorney General. In addition, he served in the legislature from January 1993 to January 2013.
Adjaho ran for office in the 1992 legislative election under the National Democratic Congress banner, and he kept his seat in the four elections that followed. He served in the first, second, third, fourth, and fifth parliaments of the Republic of Ghana. From 2009 to 2013, he served as the First Deputy Speaker of the House.
He is Ghana's first speaker to be chosen from among its parliamentarians. As a result, he was elected as the fifth Speaker of Ghana's Fourth Republic. He resigned from his seat as a member of parliament for Ghana's Parliament's Avenor-Ave constituency after being appointed Speaker.
Adjaho is a Christian. He is married and has four children
