Mbillah Lamisi Ghanaian model who was crowned Miss LG Ghana 2005.
She was born in Bawku, Ghana's upper-east region. Lamisi finished her undergraduate studies in zoology and started a doctorate program in public health the following year.She has previously worked as a conservationist, collecting turtle eggs from the beach for the hatchery and caring for them. Currently, she is the ambassador for the elimination of Guinea Worms, which is one of the most intriguing professions she has ever had.
University of Ghana student Miss Lamisi Mbillah, 22, who is majoring in zoology, was named Miss LG Ghana 2005.She constantly had to set an example while juggling the demanding position of the ideal big sister as the first daughter of five female offspring.
Her father, Rev. Johnson Mbillah, was a pastor for the Presbyterian Church of Ghana and a native of Garu in the Upper East area.
She referred to herself as a nomad and an explorer and stated her early years were quite exciting since she was always moving across Ghana and overseas, which is why her educational background was unstable.
Her family is in Nairobi, where they have been for the previous five years and where her father holds a position as general adviser to the Christian-Moslem Association for Africa.
