Dr. Atuguba has held fellowships at Harvard University, the W.E.B. Du Bois Institute for African and African American Research, and Harvard Law School. He is a member of the African Studies Association, the Ghana Society for Development Dialogue, and the Ghana Bar Association. He has served on over 50 boards and committees, including the International Consortium on Law and Development, the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy, and the Legal Resources Center.

Dr. Raymond A. Atuguba teaches constitutional law, administrative law, Ghana legal systems, jurisprudence, and seminars on governance, human rights, and law and development at the University of Ghana's Faculty of Law. He has taught human rights, law, and development seminars at Harvard University and Monash University and is a Sheila Biddle Ford Foundation Fellow.
