Adomako Kissi was born on Sunday, 23rd August 1981, in Mpreaso in the Eastern Region of Ghana. His father, Dr. Emanuel Abu Kissi, was a medical doctor, while his mother, Madam Elizabeth Bamfo Kissi, worked as a Midwife nurse.
Adomako Kissi completed his secondary education at St. Peter's Boys Secondary School in Kwahu Nkwatia. His pursuit of knowledge led him to Brigham Young University in the USA, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Economics and a minor in Chemistry in 2004. His commitment to education did not stop there; in 2013, he obtained a Medical Degree, becoming a General Practitioner, from the Ghana Medical School.
While studying at Brigham Young University, Adomako Kissi worked as a Teaching Assistant. After his graduation, he joined Covidien Medtronics of Connecticut, where he served as a Product Analyst.
As a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Adomako Kissi embarked on his political journey in June 2015 when he contested for the NPP's candidacy in the 2016 Ghanaian general election. Although he lost to the incumbent MP, Shirley Ayorkor Botchway, this setback did not deter him. He went on to found the Professionals for Political Action (PPA), a pro-NPP group comprised of professionals from various sectors, with a mission to campaign for the NPP's presidential candidate, Nana Addo-Dankwa-Akufo-Addo, and other parliamentary candidates.
