Radio career
Delay commenced her broadcasting journey as a Presenter at the young age of 17 in 1999 with Life FM in Nkawkaw, located in the Eastern Region of Ghana. In 2005, she made a transition to Top Radio in the capital city, Accra, where she remained until 2007, hosting the mid-morning show. Subsequently, in 2007, she was recruited by the newly established Oman FM and remained associated with the station until 2016

Films and television
Delay, who serves as both the hostess and executive producer, has created The Delay Show, a contentious TV program within the Ghanaian scene. Additionally, she took on the role of executive producer for the TV drama series Cocoa Brown, which portrays her journey to becoming a TV personality, and she also produced the TV drama series Afia Schwarzenegger, featuring media personality Afia Schwarzenegger.

Television career
During her tenure at Oman FM, Delay embarked on her venture into television by creating her own program, the Delay Show, which first aired in 2008 on TV3. In 2011, she took on the role of writer and producer for the popular television series, Afia Schwarzenegger. Furthermore, her television production company, Maxgringo Productions, introduced another captivating series named ''Cocoa Brown'', inspired by her own life experiences.

Controversial musician Wanlov the Kubolor shocked viewers by accepting a challenge from TV show host Deloris Frimpong Manso (Delay) during his appearance on her show. In response to a question about a myth surrounding his choice of clothing and whether he wears panties in public, Wanlov lifted his cloth to reveal his exposed genitals, leading to Delay's astonishment. This incident ultimately resulted in Delay being dismissed from TV3, where the pre-recorded program was scheduled to air.

In recognition of her advocacy for women's rights and empowerment, Delay was honored with the Women Empowerment Award at the 3G Awards in New York in 2018, and she also received acclaim for her industriousness, being listed as the most industrious celebrity in Ghana in 2017 by Pulse Gh; furthermore, she was appointed as an Ambassador for iYES in 2019, and in 2020, she achieved double success at the Ghana Outstanding Women Awards, winning the titles of Most Outstanding Woman of the Year and Outstanding Woman TV Personality and Entrepreneur of the Year.
