He currently serves as the Member of Parliament for the Upper Denkyira West Constituency in Ghana under the National Democratic Congress.
Political life
Daniel Ohene Darko won the NDC parliamentary primaries for Upper Denkyira West Constituency and secured the parliamentary seat in the 2020 Ghanaian general elections with 18,446 votes (50.7%) under the National Democratic Congress, becoming a member of the Eighth (8th) Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana, defeating Samuel Nsowah-Djan of the New Patriotic Party who had 17,925 votes (49.3%).
