Born on June 18, 1961, in Ayanfuri, Ghana, Daniel Ohene Darko completed his education with various qualifications, including a Bachelor of Laws, Barrister of Law, and an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) in Marketing.
Daniel Ohene Darko has held positions as an Associate at "Kwasi Blay and Associates," a Partner at Amicus Legal Consult, and is now the Managing Partner of Betta Law Consult. He currently serves as the Member of Parliament for the Upper Denkyira West Constituency in Ghana under the National Democratic Congress.
Daniel Ohene Darko won the NDC parliamentary primaries for Upper Denkyira West Constituency and secured the parliamentary seat in the 2020 Ghanaian general elections with 18,446 votes (50.7%) under the National Democratic Congress, becoming a member of the Eighth (8th) Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana, defeating Samuel Nsowah-Djan of the New Patriotic Party who had 17,925 votes (49.3%).
