Career
Daddy Lumba, a renowned Ghanaian highlife artist, began his music career at the age of 16 and formed the Lumba Brothers group during his time at Juaben Senior High School. After completing school, he traveled to Germany with the help of his girlfriend, Theresa, where he met Nana Acheampong and transitioned from gospel to highlife music. Daddy Lumba has since released 33 albums, established himself as a popular singer, and played a significant role in launching the careers of other Ghanaian musicians. Currently, he is preparing for the release of his 34th album, titled "Nnipa Fon Na Ɛka Nsɛm Fon."

Awards
Daddy Lumba was recognized with the "Icon/Legend of Entertainment" award at the EMY Awards in 2018, and he also received multiple honors at the 2000 and 2003 Ghana Music Awards for his outstanding contributions as an artist in the highlife genre.
