Born in Ghana, Hermon Cyrus Kwesi Nhyira Oteng, widely known as Cwesi Oteng’s musical journey began as a teenager when he found solace in the church and embraced the calling to serve God through music. For over a decade, he honed his skills as a worship leader and music director at the Tema Community 8 Lighthouse Chapel Church in Ghana. In 2008, he took a bold step and launched his solo career with the debut album 'Blessed Are They.' This album was a product of his life experiences, youthful ministry, and profound relationship with God, setting the stage for a remarkable trail in his ministry.
