After entering the Nollywood industry in 2000, Chinedu gained recognition for his role in the Nigerian film "Aki na Ukwa" in 2000, where he played the breakthrough role of Aki alongside Osita Iheme, leading to their popular identification as "Aki and Paw Paw" and subsequent collaboration in numerous films, displaying remarkable onscreen and offscreen chemistry praised by the Nollywood community

Career

Chinedu, after completing his primary and secondary education in Aba, Abia State, obtained a Higher National Diploma in Theatre Arts and a degree in Mass Communication from the Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu, before pursuing a career in film acting and attending the New York Film Academy in 2004

Honours

In 2007, Ikedieze received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the African Movie Academy Awards and was honored with the Order of the Federal Republic by the Nigerian President for his contributions to Nollywood; in 2018, he was recognized as a distinguished visitor in Miami, Florida, expressing gratitude and encouraging others to believe in themselves.
