Bimbo Ademoye

Bimbo Ademoye was born to Mr. and Mrs. Adekunle Ademoye in Lagos, Nigeria, on February 4, 1991. She hails from Lagos State, making her a Yoruba woman. Growing up, Bimbo attended St. Margaret's Primary School in Ikorodu, Lagos, and later enrolled at Mayflower Secondary School in Ikenne, Ogun State, where she obtained her West African School Leaving Certificate (WAEC). She further pursued her education at Covenant University in Ota, Ogun State, earning a bachelor's degree in business administration.

Bimbo Ademoye discovered her passion for acting at a young age of seven when she performed in a stage play in front of a large audience. The applause and recognition she received fueled her desire to pursue a career in acting. Before venturing into the entertainment industry, she worked in the human hair extension business and held positions as a presenter, marketer, and front desk officer. In 2014, she made her acting debut in the short film "Where Talent Lies," which garnered accolades at the Africa International Film Festival. Her talent caught the attention of Uduak Isong, a renowned producer, who became her mentor and played a pivotal role in her journey.

Bimbo Ademoye's acting career gained momentum when she starred in the short film "Where Talent Lies" and subsequently featured in her first feature film, "It's About Your Husband" (2015), produced by Uduak Isong. Her outstanding performances in various films earned her critical acclaim and nominations for prestigious awards. In 2018, she was nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy/TV series at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards for her role in the film "Backup Wife" (2017). Ademoye's notable works include films such as "Gone" (2018), "Personal Assistant" (2018), "Sugar Rush" (2019), and "Dear Affy" (2020), among others.

Bimbo Ademoye's talent and dedication have been acknowledged by both the industry and fans. In 2018, she was listed by Premium Times as one of five actors predicted to have a successful career that year. Her role in "Personal Assistant" earned her the award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role at the 2018 Best of Nollywood Awards, and she also received nominations for Best Kiss in a Movie and Best New Actress at the same event. She was nominated for various other awards, including the Nigeria Entertainment Awards and City People Movie Awards, further solidifying her status as a rising star in Nigerian cinema.
