Awal Alhassan, better known as Possigee, began his career as a music producer. The Ghanaian producer started off by creating beats with the help of Fruity Loops, a program for making music. He experimented with various sounds and methods while putting in endless hours to perfect his profession.

D-Cryme, a Ghanaian hip-hop singer, wrote the song "Kill Me Shy," which Possigee produced. The song was an immediate smash and received a ton of airplay in Ghana and other African nations. Possigee's musical career reached a significant turning point with this, and it gave him the chance to collaborate with other well-known musicians.

A recording contract was struck by Possigee with Ghanaian music production business MOB Studios. He had the chance to collaborate with some of Ghana's most well-known musicians thanks to this agreement, including Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, and Shatta Wale. Under MOB Studios, he created a number of successful songs, and his production abilities were getting better.
