Bright Homenya, popularly known in showbiz circles as Article Wan, was born on May 22, 1989, in Ghana.
Article Wan was born to Mr. Gabriel Amuzu, a carpenter, and Noviti Agbetrubu, a trader, both of whom are late. He attended Abossey Okai Methodist Primary School from 1998 to 2004 for his primary education. Following that, he continued his studies at Holy Family Junior High School from 2001 to 2004 before joining Kinbu Senior High School, where he completed his secondary education in 2007. In 2009, he enrolled at IPMC to study graphics and web designing.
Article Wan's passion for music started at the tender age of 13. He used to entertain his friends and classmates at school as well as various functions, showcasing his musical talent from an early age.
To pursue his interest in sound production, Article Wan studied other producers and honed his skills by practicing with his elder brother's mobile recording gadgets in his room. This dedication and hard work earned him an opportunity to master his craft at Mingle Recording Studios in Abossey Okai, where he recorded music for many other artists.
Driven by his vision, Article Wan founded his own musical clique called "Africa International" and has been serving as its C.E.O.
Article Wan rose to prominence in the Ghanaian showbiz scene with the release of his super hit single, "Solo" (HmmNyeNye), in February 2016. The song was not only a local success but also crossed international borders, gaining popularity in Jamaica, Nigeria, London, Germany, and other parts of the diaspora.
Aside from "Solo," Article Wan has a collection of impressive songs to his credit, including hits like "Borkor," "Donkomi," "Afa," and "My People," among others. His versatility as an artist and producer has earned him recognition and made him a prominent figure in the Ghanaian music scene.
