'Heritage in Transformation', the PhD project of Muqaddas Ghulam, has forged a new partnership with the Shanghai-based artist and designer KiKi Han. As a part-time lecturer at Ningmy Technological University, KiKi combines his academic background with his design practice to offer a deep dive into the evolving interpretations of Uyghur culture. Through her PhD research, Ghulam seeks to develop a richer understanding of this transformation from traditional Uyghur values and practices to influences from modern and global culture.

Siren Holistic Studio facilitated its second yoga retreat, which took place this summer in Bali, Indonesia. Participants explored various yoga styles led by local experts, experienced a traditional Balinese water purification ritual at Tirta Empul, hiked the Campuhan hills at sunrise, enjoyed a day of relaxation at a luxurious beach club, and gathered at beautiful locations each morning to develop a healthy breakfast routine.
