Early life and education

Anita Erskine was born in Jerusalem, Israel, to Lieutenant General Emmanuel Erskine and Rose Anastasia Erskine, both Ghanaian. She was raised in Ghana and later moved to Canada in her late teens, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Cultural Studies from Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario.

Anita Erskine's career journey spans from hosting the Bold and Beautiful Omnibus Talk Show on Metro TV in 1998, to working as a radio show host in Canada, and becoming the host of TV3's Mentor in 2006. She later worked as the Corporate Communications Director of Tigo and returned to Viasat 1, hosting several shows like "The One Show" and "+233 Discovery." Additionally, in 2016, she founded her Communications Consultancy, Anita Erskine Media, and built Bosslady Productions as one of its subsidiaries.

She has also been honored with titles like POWER INFLUENCER in Ghana, Radio Female Presenter of the Year at the RTP Awards in 2017, and the Legendary Award Winner at the Women Mean Business Honors in 2016. Furthermore, her contributions to women empowerment were acknowledged with the Outstanding Contribution To Women Empowerment award at the 40 under 40 event in 2017, and her talents in acting were recognized with awards for Best Supporting Actress at the Ghana Movie Awards in 2012, 2013, and 2014, along with the Protector of Women and Girl Child Rights Award at the African Women Intercultural Dialogue in 2017.
