Andy Kwame Appiah-Kubi was born on July 7, 1957, in Ghana.

Andy Kwame Appiah-Kubi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science with a focus on Political Science, which he earned from the University of Ghana, Legon. Appiah-Kubi went on to complete an MBA in Marketing in 2000, an LLB in General Law in 2006, and a Barrister-at-Law (BL) with a specialization in Property Law in 2008. In the same year, he achieved a unique combination of an MBA, LLB, and BL, all with a specialization in Property Law, further strengthening his legal expertise.

Career Path

Appiah-Kubi served as the Chief Executive Officer of Ideal Veterinary Supply from 1989 to 1994. Subsequently, he took on the role of Country Director for AFEX International Group, holding the position until 2001. His extensive professional background led him to the Deputy Executive Secretary position at the Free Zones Board, a role he held until 2009. Later, Appiah-Kubi assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer at Appiah-Kubi & Associates.

Political Ascent

Andy Kwame Appiah-Kubi represents the Asante-Akim North Constituency, and his political journey began when he stood for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2016 Parliamentary Election. His victory in this election earned him a place in the Seventh Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana.

2020 election 

In the subsequent 2020 general election, Appiah-Kubi was re-elected to represent his constituents in the Eighth Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana. He secured 25,009 votes, representing 63.91% of the valid votes cast, while his closest competitor, the NDC parliamentary candidate Alhaji Adams Sulley Yussif, received 14,123 votes, accounting for 36.1% of the total valid votes cast.
