Club career

Andy Yiadom, born in Holloway, Greater London, began his football career in the youth team of Watford and later played for clubs like Hayes & Yeading United and Braintree Town before joining Barnet, where he played as a right-sided winger and right back, eventually moving to Barnsley and later signing with Reading, where he currently serves as the club captain.

Andy Yiadom, born in England to Ghanaian parents, initially represented the English national C team and was named their player of the year, but later switched to playing for the Ghana national team, making his debut in a 2017 Africa Cup of Nations match against Egypt, and also participated in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations with Ghana, although they were eliminated in the group stage.
