Alexx Ekubo

Alexx Ekubo was born on April 10, 1986, in Abia State, Nigeria but grew up in various Nigerian cities due to his father's profession as a petroleum trader. Fluent in both Hausa and Igbo, he effortlessly navigates the linguistic diversity of Nigeria. Ekubo completed his early education at K. Kotun Nursery and Primary School in Lagos before attending the Federal Government College in Daura, Katsina State. He later pursued a law degree at the University of Calabar and also obtained a diploma in mass communication from Calabar Polytechnic.

Ekubo's acting journey began with a minor role in Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen's film "Sinners in the House" in 2005. However, his breakthrough came several years later with a prominent role in "Ladies Men." Since then, he has consistently dazzled audiences with his versatile performances and garnered critical acclaim for his acting prowess.

In 2010, Ekubo emerged as the first runner-up in the prestigious Mr Nigeria contest, showcasing his charisma and poise on a national stage. His talent did not go unnoticed, and he was honored with the Best Actor in a Supporting Role award at the 2013 Best of Nollywood Awards for his outstanding performance in "Weekend Getaway."
