Akofa Edjeani

Akofa Edjeani, born on February 20, 1969, in Ghana, is a distinguished figure in the Ghanaian film industry.

Born and raised in Ghana, Akofa Edjeani attended Mawuli School for her Senior High School education. She furthered her studies at the University of Ghana, where she obtained a bachelor's degree in Arts from the Performing Arts department. To enhance her skills in public relations, marketing, and advertising, she pursued a certificate program at the Ghana Institute of Journalism in 1995.

Akofa Edjeani commenced her acting career in 1987 and made her debut appearance in the popular TV series "Annette and Jagger Pee." Throughout the 1990s, she showcased her talent in various productions, notably starring in the acclaimed film "Ultimate Paradise."

Recognized for her expertise and contribution to the industry, Akofa Edjeani was selected as a judge on the semi-finals panel for the 2009 International Emmy Awards (Asia/Africa/Middle East). This opportunity further solidified her reputation as a respected figure in the global entertainment landscape.
