Early life and education

Adesua comes from a mixed Esan and Yoruba background, is the youngest of three siblings, attended Corona School and Queen's College in Lagos before moving to the UK at 13, and later obtained a diploma in physical theatre and performing arts from City College Coventry in 2004 and graduated with first-class honours in drama and performance from the University of Wolverhampton.

Career

Etomi has an impressive filmography, including notable roles in films such as The Arbitration, The Wedding Party, and Falling, for which she won the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award for Best Actress in a Drama; she has also appeared in A Soldier's Story, Out of Luck, Couple of Days, and portrayed Shiela in the TV series Shuga, and she starred as Amaka Obiora in LasGidi Cops, while also being featured on Vogue's list of global superstars, and she released her first single titled 'So Natural' in February 2022.

Personal life

In February 2017, Etomi got engaged to Banky W and they had their traditional marriage in November, followed by a court wedding and a white wedding in Cape Town, South Africa; in early 2021, they welcomed their son Hazaiah Wellington, and later shared their marriage journey and struggles with conception in a story titled 'Final Say Faith'; moreover, Etomi was credited for saving the daughter of Nollywood actress Iretiola Doyle from bullies.
