Kwesi Arthur

Kwesi Arthur was born on December 18, 1994, in Tema, Ghana.

Kwesi Arthur is a talented rapper and musician. Despite facing financial obstacles that hindered his plans to pursue higher education, Kwesi chose to follow his passion for music instead. He began his journey at a local recording studio, where he traded his services for the opportunity to learn music production and record for free. His breakthrough came in 2016 when he connected with Ground Up Chale, a platform for emerging artists, and recorded his hit song "Grind Day" at their studios.

Kwesi Arthur, a Ghanaian rapper, gained recognition after being featured on the hit song "Grind Day" alongside Sarkodie and Medikal, which was discovered by Sarkodie himself. Inspired by Drake's music, Kwesi Arthur began writing raps and went on to release his debut EP, "Live from Nkrumah Krom," in 2017, supported by the social movement GroundUp Chale. He has collaborated with various Ghanaian artists and was nominated for Best International Act at the 2018 BET Awards. Kwesi Arthur's music has achieved international acclaim, and his song "Live From The 233" was highly streamed on Apple Music in 2020.
