Kwasi Anin-Yeboah JSC is a Ghanaian judge and the immediate past Chief Justice of Ghana.
Born in Toase, Ghana's Ashanti Region, Yeboah attended Apam and Amaniampong Secondary Schools before pursuing studies at the University of Ghana and the Ghana School of Law, where he earned his degree.
Justice Anin Yeboah, a former assistant state attorney in Koforidua, gained experience as a partner in Afisem Chambers and later became president of the Eastern Regional Bar. He served as a judge on the Court of Appeal and High Court in Ghana. He currently serves as the General Legal Council's Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee and Legal Aid Board.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo appointed Justice Anin-Yeboah as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Ghana.
The petitioner, John Dramani Mahama, the NDC presidential candidate, requested a rerun of the 2020 election. The case was denied by the Supreme Court, which was presided over by Chief Justice Kwasi Anin-Yeboah.
John Mahama challenged the results of the election on the grounds that his opponent Nana Akufo-Addo and the other eight candidates fell short of the required constitutional threshold of 50%+1 votes to be recognized as the victor.
