Discovery
Lamptey displayed an early passion for singing, nurtured by his father, and began performing at 12. Discovering his talent for rap and ragga, he recorded songs using a boom-box and microphone, gaining popularity in high school and even winning acclaim as the best performer in an inter-school fiesta. His musical abilities continued to flourish at the University of Professional Studies, where he excelled as a rapper and collaborated with esteemed producers such as Decoder, Odo Nsuo, and Akwaboah.

Gasmilla began his music career during Junior High school, collaborating with fellow artists, and later achieved recognition as the first artist signed to Cold Eye studios while in Senior High school, ultimately making a notable impact with his debut single "Aboodatoi."
